Catwalk IV lead GB to Nations Cup victory St.-Gallen

Heyside Farm’s AES approved stallion Catwalk IV (Colman) and Robert Whitaker led the British team in St-Gallen to victory after jumping two rounds without any mistake. The pair only caught one penalty for passing the time allowed in round two. Roe Spencer (Wonder Why) noted a time fault each round. Guy Williams (Zaïre) and Dan Neilson (Varo M) rode one clear round each. It’s just a pity the British couldn’t gain points in the Furusiyya league at this CSIO of Switzerland. Fur sure this victory was a brilliant performance of a B-team of Olympic Champion Great-Britain. Olympic stars such as Ben Maher, Scott Brash and Nick Skelton are acting in Hamburg for the Global Champions Tour. Looks like Robert Whitaker and Catwalk are strong contenders to become part of the WEG team of the country, after they also won the GP in Windsor and placed third in the Sunshine Tour Invitational GP. Also yesterday in Hamburg John Whitaker won the 1.50m Accumulator class just one day before the GCT GP.
